Thank you to everyone who volunteered in 2014 to make the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre’s first year a success. It was a dedicated group of volunteers who saved the Marine and Rail Museum. Volunteers welcomed visitors from around the world.
Members, if you are interested in volunteering in 2015 and haven’t been contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator, check the Volunteer Page for more information.
Thank you for your support in 2014. We look forward to seeing you at the Museum in the Spring. Membership renewal is in March. The latest newsletter is posted on the website.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Marine and Rail Museum in 2014. It was a successful first season under the management of the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre. It would not have been possible without the support of the community.
We had more visitors than originally anticipated. Around 5000 visitors stopped in between the opening in June and the closing in October. They came from many parts of the world as well as locally. Thank you to everyone who paid us a visit.
Thank you to our volunteers. Around 1,000 hours were clocked and that doesn’t count the hours spent by our volunteer board and volunteer consultants. Members, please check the Volunteer Page if you are interested in volunteering in 2015 and you haven’t already submitted a form.
Thank you to our members who have supported us. Thank you to all who made donations.
